I already left you a comment on YouTube but oh well. We rafted this same spot a few years ago. I almost wigged out at the last minute and didn't go after they made us sign something about being aware of the deadly nature of what we were about to do. But I went and love to say I did it, although I will never do it again. I blame it on my previously torn ACL since you need so much leg strength to hold yourself in there! It's incredible! We had to save some people who flew out of a different raft but strangely we didn't fall out even though the river was flooded. Yikes.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome!!! We would totally go again! But we're going to do the Upper Gauley, which is rated #2 most difficult in the country. It should be rockin'!
