Dinner Time

Since Thanksgiving, Will has been eating some solid foods, usually one meal of them around supper time. Beth made a lot of baby food and froze it for Will, including peas, acorn squash, sweet potatoes, and apple sauce. Will's been quite the champ at eating (he's so advanced, after all), although he's starting to show some preferences. This video captures his varied reactions to peas and apples, complete with his father's suggestion to throw in a bite of peas in the midst of the apples.

I love the reaction to the last bite! It's really amazing how he is showing such a strong preference.

It was Nick's idea, huh? Way to throw him under the bus. But as Will will come to understand, it made for a more interesting piece, performance-wise. Make sure you tell his therapist to bring that point up.

Cam and I were watching the video and he starts wimpering at the end with Will. don't taint my kid's pea preference before he even tries them! we're gonna do sweet potatoes this weekend, then peas are next.
nice facial expressions, Will!
