Aside from the great boating and fishing, this lake has one more honor. It's known as the place "Where the Ducks Walk on the Fish." The two parts of the lake are at different levels, and between them is a spillway. Or should we say, The Spillway.

Around this tiny waterfall, thousands of gigantic carp began to gather over the years, and more and more people fed them. Eventually someone set up a small shack and sold loaves of stale bread for $1. You could throw the bread into the water, and watch the fish writhe and splash as they fight for it.

Don't believe us? Watch the video yourself and behold its grotesque glory!

Hi Uncle Nick and Aunt Beth, Abby says, "I love fish! I would love to go to that place! I want to go to that place tomorrow!" Mom told her maybe someday Aunt Beth and Uncle Nick can take her there.
After hearing about it many times, it was cool to see in action. I'd like to see it in person. I just don't understand how there's enough oxygen in the water to support fish packed so densely. How is that place NOT clogged with tons of bloated dead fish?
all i can say is, "HOLY CARP!" (and, no, that's not a typo...)
wow! that is all i can say. thanks for sharing the video. we have almost that many lizards living in our bushes in front of the apartment.
